Description: To be considered for this position, please submit a resume, cover letter and hours of availability via email to: Assists in the operation and supervision of all aspects of the UMD Mobile Truck. This position ensures compliance with all UM Dining policies and procedures, health and safety standards, and other established guidelines. Works as a team member with UMD management staff to encourage cooperation, coordination, and consistency between UMD, The University of Montana, and the guests we serve. Maintains a positive attitude and loyalty to UMD communicated in a way that is in the best interest of UMD, including promoting and supporting the mission statement, and short and long range departmental goals.
Classification: Food/Dining Service
Qualifications: Must be currently registered UM Student taking at least six credit hours. Completion of the UMD Student Leadership Certification course. Ability to work late evening, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to work up to 29 hours per week including the weekend shift. Ability to use or learn standard Microsoft Office computer applications including Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills used to establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships with co-workers, subordinates, guests, and all other team members. The Student Manager must be able to work in a stressful environment, resolve guest service issues or complaints, and address workplace conflicts with student employees. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to physically perform all student jobs within the unit.
