Established in 1899, Flathead Lake Biological Station (FLBS) is internationally renowned as a freshwater mecca for ecology and limnology researchers and students.
FLBS programs are heavily reliant on private funding. FLBS is constantly seeking ways to develop and increase research and educational capabilities to continue to help solve local to global environmental issues.
You may donate online today toward these areas of need:
FLBS has received an amazing $1 million challenge grant from a local donor that we must match dollar for dollar. Matching this gift will maintain continuity of our 100-year legacy of Flathead Lake research and monitoring. Donations will ensure that your Flathead Lake stays beautiful, clean and clear.
Invest in the FLBS vision by contributing to the Opportunity Fund. This fund allows the FLBS Director to distribute contributions to priority projects.
